Welcome to CoderDojo Footscray (Melbourne, Australia). CoderDojo Footscray is run by the West Footscray Neighbourhood House initiative ( in collaboration with team at CoderDojo Altona North (

CoderDojo Footscray meets on a weekly basis at the West Footscray Neighborhood House. Our classes are held from 10am – 12noon AEST every Saturday during the school term. CoderDojo Footscray runs during the school term only. Please see the “Registration” page if you are interested in getting onto the waiting list. We have a waiting list and will get in touch when a seat opens up.

In class we work on Scratch, BBC micro:bit, python, micropython, web development, 3D modelling, fundamentals of electronics using Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc.

Learning & Growing

Coderdojo Footscray builds upon the work done by the team at CoderDojo Altona North (launched in September 2017 with the support of Royal Society of Victoria and the Hobsons Bay City Council). At CoderDojo Footscray our weekly sessions are run at the West Footscray Neighborhood house, located in West Footscray.

CoderDojo Footscray is a joint initiative between West Footscray Neighborhood House and CoderDojo Altona North.
